Ideal daily routine

  • Wake up around at least 6 AM, As Its Vat Kal it helps to pass the motion easily.
  • Do not drink cold water on an empty stomach in the morning. When you feel thirsty, drink half a glass of lukewarm water.
  • Do Exercise or Yoga according to your strength for half an hour between 7- 8 AM in the morning. E.g Pranayama, Omkar chanting, Meditation, Surya Namaskar, etc.
  • Have your breakfast between 8 to 9 in the morning like Pohe, Upit, Shira, Bhajani Thalipeeth, Dhirde, Paratha, Chapati-Bhaji etc.
  • Lunch should be taken regularly between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. Do not drink water at all after 1 hour of the meal. You can drink half a glass of water in between meal.
  • AS per your hunger you can have a handful of lahya – Pops (Jowar / Rice / Maize)or dried figs or other dried fruits etc. in between 4 to 5 PM. As per season, you can consume one fruit / coconut water (All with your doctors advice)
  • Brisk walking between 5 to 6 in the evening until you start sweating.
  • Have your Dinner between 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Dinner should be light and moderate. Water consumption rules as per lunch. Shatpawali should be done after dinner.
  • Drink water as per your need but do not dehydrate yourself.
  • There should be a gap of at least 2 hours between a meal and sleep at night i.e. do not go to bed immediately after the meal.
  • Do not use TV or mobile for at least 1 hour before going to bed at night

Diet & Lifestyle – Do’s

  • Cereals- 1-Year-old cereals, rice, rice lapsi, jeera rice, chapati, fulka, jowar- bajra roti, lentil -Moog , Masoor ( Dal/ sup/ khichdi)
  • Vegetables – Bottle-gourd, Spinach, Carrot, Cauliflower, Beans, ladies-finger, Tendli, Radish, Beetroot, Red Chawli leaves, Green coriander, onion, Garlic, Jeera, Coriander, Carom Seeds, Pigeon Pea, Luffa (Dodka)
  • Fruits – Pomegranate, Grapes, Mango, Apple, Chikoo, Papaya, Almonds, Date, Dried Dates, Fig, Apricots, Dried grapes (Raisin)
  • Non-veg- Fresh Mutton, Chicken, Chicken soup once in 15 days
  • Drinks- Tea, Coffee( once a day), Fresh buttermilk, Coconut Water, Kokam Sharbat, Aamla sharbat, Lemonade
  • Ghee & Oils – Cow’s ghee, Single Filtered peanut’s oil, Sesame oil.
  • Other food- Honey, Rava Kheer , Upama, Rava ladoo, sheera, Popped rice, Rock salt.
  • Lifestyle – Daily exercise, Enough Rest, Yogasana, Pranayam.

  • Cereals – Black gram, Corn, Chana dal, Tur dal, Matki.
  • Vegetables- All green leafy vegetables in excessive quantity.
  • Fruits- Banana, Guava, Bottle-gourd, Tomato (Avoid excessive use)
  • Non-veg- Pork, Beef, Spicy curry, Dried mutton, Dried Fish
  • Egg, Fish (Avoid excessive use)
  • Drinks- Milkshake, Chilled water, Cold drinks, Tea and Coffee more than 2-3 times.
  • Oils -Dalda, Sunflower Oil, Refined oil, Exessive Oily food, Safflower oil.
  • Other food Items – Curd, Bhel, Bhelpuri, Ragda, Pattice, Bakery products, Cake, Biscuits, Pizza, Noodles, Fruit salad, Extra sweet, Stale food.
  • Daily routine- Daytime sleep, late-night eating, Staying awake late night, Avoid natural urge, over talking, Stress, Eating without hunger, Lack of exercise, Frequent Traveling.

Tips –

  1. Try to eat at a regular time.
  2. Eat your meal when you are really hungry with peaceful mind.
  3. Concentrate on your food while eating avoid watching TV or using mobile phones.
  4. Wake up early, don’t stay awake late night, Avoid sleeping during day time.
  5. Do regular Exercise, Yoga & Meditation.
  6. Massage with Sesame/ Coconut oil at least once a week
